Hebrew AI chatbot

An AI chatbot for your website that answers in Hebrew, right to left

If your customers write in Hebrew, the chatbot on your site has to answer in Hebrew and read right to left - the window, the bubbles, the input field and the forms, not only the text. SLAtech AI does both, from the content of your own website, and switches to English or Russian for visitors who write in those.

What right to left covers

When the conversation is in Hebrew, the whole widget turns: the chat window, the message bubbles, the input field and its character counter, the lead form and the card that offers a person. The launcher and the close button move to the side a Hebrew reader expects. A Hebrew sentence with an English product name or a price in it is laid out by the browser's own bidirectional rules inside a right-to-left window. The admin panel where you set it up is available in Hebrew too, right to left.

How it knows the visitor wants Hebrew

In this order: the language the visitor picked in the widget's own switcher, if they ever did; the language your page declares, such as lang="he"; the script of the page itself - a page that is mostly Hebrew gets a Hebrew widget; the language set for the site in the admin panel; and last, the browser's language. The switcher in the widget header offers Hebrew, English and Russian at any moment, and the choice is remembered on the next visit.

Answers in Hebrew, from your own pages

The answer is written from your website, not from general knowledge, and in the language of the question: by default the assistant reads the letters of the question, and Hebrew gets a Hebrew answer. If your site is in English and the question is in Hebrew, the answer is still in Hebrew, with the facts taken from the English pages. When the site has enough pages in Hebrew, those are preferred as sources. An answer that comes out in the wrong language is not shown; a fixed message in the right language replaces it. What the assistant cannot find in your content, it does not make up - it says so and offers to pass the question to a person.

The parts you write once

You can write the welcome message, the input placeholder and the reply for questions it cannot answer in English: they are translated into Hebrew and Russian automatically and stored, so a Hebrew visitor is not greeted in English. With identifier masking switched on, Israeli ID numbers - checked by their control digit - and Israeli phone numbers are among the identifiers it recognises.

Frequently asked questions

Does the chatbot support Hebrew right to left?

Yes. In Hebrew the whole widget runs right to left: the window, the bubbles, the input field, the forms and the buttons. The admin panel is available in Hebrew as well.

Will it answer in Hebrew if my website is in English?

Yes. The answer follows the language of the question, and facts from your English pages are given in Hebrew. If you would rather have every answer in one language, set that language in the widget settings instead of automatic.

What happens when a visitor writes in Russian or English?

The assistant answers in the language of the question, and the widget takes the matching direction: right to left for Hebrew, left to right for English and Russian. Visitors can also switch the language from the widget header.

Do I need a developer to add it to my site?

No. You paste one snippet from the admin panel into your site's HTML, before the closing body tag. For a React app there is a ready component, @slatech/react.

How much does a Hebrew AI chatbot cost?

There is a free plan with no credit card, and paid plans start at $49 a month. The current limits of each plan are on the pricing page.
