Lead Qualification Before a Human Replies

Qualifying is not filtering. It is asking the three things that decide whether a conversation is worth having, early enough to matter.

Sound Familiar?

📥

Every enquiry looks the same

In an inbox, a serious buyer and a student doing research are one line of text each. You find out which by spending an hour.

⏳

Qualifying happens too late

The questions that would have ended it early get asked on the call, after the diary slot was already given away.

🤐

Nobody writes down the criteria

Every salesperson qualifies differently, from memory, and the firm has no idea which version is working.

What You Get

❓

Your questions, asked consistently

You decide what qualifies: scope, timing, who decides, which the assistant then asks every time, in the same way, including at two in the morning.

🧾

Answers arrive with the conversation

Not a score. The actual exchange, so you can see why an enquiry looked promising and disagree with it if you want.

🚪

A clean exit for a bad fit

An enquiry outside what you do is told so, politely and immediately, instead of being left to wait for a reply that was never coming.

📊

The criteria become visible

Written-down qualifying questions can be reviewed and changed. Qualifying held in five people's heads cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it score leads?
No, and that is deliberate. A number hides its reasoning and gets trusted anyway; the conversation shows you what was asked and what was answered, and you keep the judgement. If you want a score, build it from the answers once you know they are reliable.
Will it put off a serious buyer?
It can, if you ask the wrong things. Budget asked first reads as a gate; scope and timing asked first read as interest. The questions are yours to write, so this is a copywriting decision rather than a technical one, and it is worth an hour of thought.
What if someone refuses to answer?
They get through anyway. A qualifying question that becomes a wall turns a good enquiry into a lost one, so an unanswered question is recorded as unanswered and the enquiry still reaches you.
Can it tell a serious enquiry from a competitor looking around?
No, and nothing can reliably. What it does is make the asymmetry cheaper: you spend no time on either until the answers are in front of you, and a competitor doing research costs you nothing instead of an hour.
