Founder-led

Eight commitments from the founder

SLAtech is built by a small founder-led team. These are the commitments we make — what we will do, what we won't. Pairs with the AI ethics statement, no-vendor-lockin policy and vertical specialisation thesis.

Founder-led, not VC-paced

SLAtech is built by a small focused team led by Emil Slavin — Israel-based engineer with a decade of building production SaaS for SMB and mid-market. No outside board telling us to prioritise growth metrics over customer outcomes. Decisions are made with buyer value in mind, not investor optics.

Data protection is a default, not a tier upgrade

Compliance isn't gated behind a premium plan — there is no "Pro tier + residency add-on" pricing trick. The default product ships GDPR-aligned data handling. Hosting in your own jurisdiction is available on request (Enterprise deployments). US-hosted competitors require a supplementary Schrems II transfer-impact assessment that adds 2-4 weeks to procurement.

Hebrew + Russian are first-class, not auto-translate

Polished RTL UI rendering, Cyrillic-aware tokenization and NER, native locale formatting. SLAtech is the only first-class Hebrew-RTL and Russian production-grade chatbot platform. This is the reason Israeli and Russian-speaking diaspora customers can use SLAtech where they cannot use Intercom / Drift / Chatbase / Tidio.

Vertical specialisation is a moat we accept

Building 9 specialised vertical chatbots (Med, Edu, Hospitality, Sales, Legal, Beauty, Fitness, Event, Business) means 9 ongoing domain-expertise investments — compliance reviews, seed content tuning, eval-harness maintenance. Most chatbot platforms ship generic to avoid this cost. We accept the cost because vertical-tuned chatbots score 12-19 points higher on industry-specific eval harnesses. The moat compounds quarter-over-quarter.

We don't fine-tune on customer data

Customer content is excluded from the model-training pipeline by contract and by technical isolation. Sub-processor agreements with our language-model and re-ranking providers explicitly exclude customer data from their training. Customers should never wonder whether their proprietary content is leaking into a foundation model. RAG (not fine-tuning) handles tenant-specific knowledge.

We don't lock customers in

Every piece of customer data is exportable in open formats (Markdown, JSON, JSONL, CSV) on demand. 30-day notice, 90-day export window, 7-day production deletion, 35-day backup purge. Customers should never feel trapped. The published commitment lives at /en/no-vendor-lockin/.

We don't ship voice mode or open-source widget yet

Two features customers ask for that we intentionally haven't shipped: voice mode (we're not ready to maintain a voice-grade quality bar) and a fully open-source widget (we want to make sure customer data integrity isn't compromised by a DIY deployment). Both on the long-term roadmap; neither shipped because we'd rather ship 0 than ship poorly.
